Travel Vaccination & Advice

Travelling abroad exposes you to infectious diseases that may not be common in Singapore. At Mission (Hougang) Medical Clinic, our doctors provide personalised pre-travel health consultations — reviewing your destination, itinerary, and health history to recommend the right vaccines and preventive measures.

We advise on malaria prevention, food and water safety, altitude sickness, traveller's diarrhoea, and other destination-specific risks — so you can travel with confidence.

We recommend booking your travel consultation at least 4–6 weeks before departure to allow time for vaccines to take effect and for multi-dose courses to be completed.

Common travel vaccines

Typhoid
Hepatitis A & B
Japanese Encephalitis
Rabies (pre-exposure)
Meningococcal (for Hajj/Umrah)
Yellow Fever (referral)
Cholera
Influenza & routine boosters
