"Dr Leong is a very caring doctor and one of the very best GPs in Singapore. Queue may be very long, or he may have frequent outcalls — not surprising given his popularity. Staff has photographic memory, can remember patient name although we only visit a few times a year."

Frequently asked questions

Do I need an appointment or can I walk in?

We welcome walk-in patients for acute issues, but booking an appointment is advised to reduce your wait time.

What should I bring for my first visit?

Please bring your NRIC (or passport/work permit for non-Singaporeans) and your CHAS, Pioneer Generation, or Merdeka Generation card if applicable.

It is also recommended to bring any previous medical records, health screening results, and a list of current medications to help the doctor understand your medical history.

How do I get to Mission (Hougang) Medical Clinic?

Take the MRT to Hougang Station (NE14) and transfer to bus services 72, 74, 88, 112, 147, or 165, alighting near Hougang Avenue 7.

For those driving, paid parking is available in the nearby HDB car park.

Do you provide home visit services?

Unfortunately, Mission (Hougang) Medical Clinic does not offer house call or home visit services at this time. All consultations and treatments are provided at the clinic. Patients are encouraged to visit during operating hours for medical care.

Does the clinic accept health screening or corporate medical plans?

Yes, the clinic provides health screening packages and supports various corporate healthcare arrangements. Patients are encouraged to check with their employer or insurer for specific panel eligibility.

What languages do the doctors and staff speak?

The clinic staff and doctors commonly communicate in English, Mandarin, and local dialects, ensuring that patients from different backgrounds receive clear and supportive care.

What payment methods are accepted?

We accept cash, NETS, and major debit cards. The clinic also supports government healthcare schemes such as CHAS, Pioneer Generation, and Merdeka Generation subsidies, as well as selected corporate or insurance medical plans.

Patients are encouraged to confirm their eligibility before their visit for smoother billing.

What happens if I need urgent care outside your opening hours?

If you require urgent medical attention outside of the clinic's regular hours, please visit a 24-hour clinic nearby.

For life-threatening conditions, call 995 for emergency medical services immediately.
