What is CHAS?

The Community Health Assist Scheme (CHAS) is a government initiative by the Ministry of Health that enables all Singapore Citizens — including Pioneer Generation and Merdeka Generation cardholders — to receive subsidies for medical care at participating GP clinics.

Unlike other schemes, all Singapore Citizens are eligible for CHAS regardless of income. The subsidy tier you receive is based on your household monthly income per person or the Annual Value (AV) of your home.

Mission (Hougang) Medical Clinic is a CHAS-accredited GP clinic. Simply present your CHAS card at registration and our staff will apply the subsidy directly to your bill.
